Chad has been a dedicated practitioner of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu since 2016. He began his journey under Dan Moroney (Gracie Humaitá Woodbridge) and currently trains and coaches under Tony Isaacs and Michael Bryers at Grappling Arts Academy.

As a Brown Belt, Chad’s approach to the art is rooted in discipline, creativity, and the strong sense of community that BJJ builds. His teaching style blends structured technical drilling with live situational games, ensuring students develop a rock-solid foundation while exploring the deeper, more fluid aspects of grappling.

Beyond the mats, Chad brings nearly two decades of experience as a professional drummer and international educator. This background in music and performance has instilled in him a unique level of patience and adaptability, making him an exceptionally clear communicator for students of all ages. Whether he is leading the grappling program for competitors at Judo Club Challenge or teaching hobbyists, Chad is passionate about helping every student find their own rhythm in the art.

With a decade of experience on the mats, Andrew brings a wealth of technical knowledge and competitive fire to Lotus Fitness. A Brown Belt under Micah Brakefield at 10th Planet Etobicoke, Andrew’s background is rooted in one of the most innovative and creative systems in modern Jiu-Jitsu.

As a multiple-time provincial champion, Andrew knows exactly what it takes to perform under pressure. However, his true passion lies in the art of instruction. Having taught everyone from total beginners to advanced practitioners at 10th Planet, he has developed a coaching style that is as precise as it is adaptable.
